Well....hmm!

Well this week...I entered total FREAK OUT mode! So I took all the Clomid pills and Keith and I have been doing the baby dance and then I talked to my friend Paige (and Paige this is totally not your fault) about how I was doing. While on the phone talking about my new Clomid regimen, she mentioned that she thought that a friend from Harding was on that and had Quads. I said no way...I asked my doc while at his office getting on Clomid about multiples and he said it was like a super super slim chance for even twins...(I told this to Paige full of confidence..by the way!) As soon as I got a chance I decided to check out this Quad family and read her blog to see what had actually happened...ENTER- FREAK OUT MOMENT!!! Yep...Clomid...same milligrams and everything...WHAT..now I am going to have FOUR babies at one time! I did not handle this very well. It was tooo late...I had already taken the pills, pretty sure I already ovulated, and we had already done our "trying"...I could have four babies in there right now...FREAK OUT!!!!!!

Once calmed down...I decided to do some research of my own. There is a chance of multiples. During clinical trials for Clomid, about 7% of pregnancies led to twins, about 0.5% of pregnancies led to triplets and 0.3% to quadruplets.

Well...there you go.

I am not freaking out anymore. I decided that If GOD wants me to have 4 babies..i guess we will have four babies. I also decided to change my prayer from wanting to get pregnant to please make it only one or two. hehe!

In all actuality...It really is going to be fine! If I have one, two, three, or four...they will be loved, cared for, and be a huge blessing!

  2. In my defense, I told you the girl from Harding, had a higher chance of multiples b/c of it being on both sides of the family. They were told this! Sorry I freaked you out.
